- General
These terms and conditions regulate the rights and obligations between the owner of the holiday home Galeria and the guest using the accommodation services.
By booking the accommodation, the guest confirms that they are familiar with these terms, fully understand them, and accept them.
- Reservations and Payment
To confirm a reservation, an advance payment of 30% of the total price is required. The reservation becomes valid once the advance payment is received.
The remaining amount must be paid no later than 7 days before arrival or in cash on the day of arrival.
Upon check-in, the guest is required to pay a security deposit of 400 EUR.
The security deposit serves as a guarantee for any potential damage and is fully refunded at check-out, provided no damage has occurred to the property or inventory.
- Cancellation Policy
If the guest cancels:
• up to 30 days before arrival — full refund of the advance payment,
• 15–30 days before arrival — 50% refund of the advance payment,
• less than 15 days before arrival — no refund of the advance payment.
In exceptional circumstances (force majeure), the owner may cancel the reservation and is obliged to refund all paid amounts.
- Check-in and Check-out
Guest check-in: from 15:00 on the day of arrival.
Guest check-out: until 10:00 on the day of departure.
Early check-in or late check-out depends on availability and must be agreed in advance.
The host personally greets guests upon arrival, introduces them to the house and all facilities, and remains available for any questions during the stay.
On the day of departure, the host will personally see the guests off, inspect the house, and return the security deposit if no damage has occurred.
- House Rules
Guests agree to respect the house rules, take care of the accommodation and surroundings, and avoid disturbing the neighbors.
Smoking is prohibited indoors (allowed only in designated outdoor areas).
Pets are allowed only with prior agreement.
- Guest Responsibility
The guest is responsible for any damage caused to the property during the stay, whether intentional or accidental.
All damage must be compensated on the spot before departure.
- Safety and Personal Belongings
The owner is not responsible for theft or damage to guests’ personal belongings.
Guests are advised to lock doors and windows when not present at the property.
- Use of the Pool, Sauna, and Additional Facilities
Guests have access to the pool with a depth of 1.8 m. All guests are asked to follow safety rules when using the pool, especially when children or non-swimmers are present.
Use of the pool, sauna, and other facilities is at one’s own risk.
Parents must supervise children near the pool or in shared areas.
- Complaints and Dispute Resolution
All complaints will be addressed in good faith.
If no agreement can be reached, the competent court is the one in the jurisdiction of the property’s location.
- Personal Data Protection
All personal data provided by guests to the property owner are used exclusively for registering and deregistering guests in the eVisitor system, in accordance with the applicable laws of the Republic of Croatia and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – EU 2016/679).
The eVisitor system is the official national information system for tourist registration, managed by the Croatian National Tourist Board.
Collected data are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with third parties unless required by law.
